Pruning
This body of work explores the pure aesthetic of power lines, drawing comparisons between technology and nature. In a natural outdoor environment, we begin to find the familiar in these unfamiliar, alien-like objects. These photographs of towering metal structures are evocative of sky-reaching trees, and reminiscent of fractal patterns found in their foliage .
